WPP has made one of the most important decisions on its path to sustainability . The communications giant seeks to end single-use plastic in its more than 3,000 offices and agency campuses around the world before the end of the year. According to a statement from the British holding company, WPP will no longer purchase or provide single-use plastics , such as bottles, straws, cutlery and cups. Additionally, it will make it easier for people to recycle their own plastic materials at work. The company has signed its New Plastics Economy Global Commitment , jointly led by the United Nations Environment and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, supporting the vision of a circular economy so that plastic never becomes waste or pollution.
